Do your followers get tired of <\/span>gameplays<\/b>? These 6 challenges will delight all <\/span>video game influencers<\/b> and will give <\/span>life<\/b> to their YouTube channels and social media networks. Shall we take a look?<\/span><\/p>\n

1 – Try not to Scream<\/h2>\n

This one is a classic in the gamer community. While other youtubers are watching videos and gifs in their “Try Not to Laugh Challenge”, these gamers will put on their <\/span>headphones<\/b>, <\/span>turn off<\/b> the lights and <\/span>immerse themselves<\/b> in <\/span>scary games<\/span>. For whatever reason, the rest of us love to see how video game influencers<\/a> suffer with the scares they get from some of these games. And if they have a pet or a prankster roommate that pays them a visit, well \u2026\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to try suffering for a while and delight your subscribers, you can go for <\/span>classic<\/b> games like Outlast, Alien Isolation, Amnesia or the many <\/span>versions<\/span> of Five Nights at Freddy’s. But of course, keep in mind that the <\/span>more popular the games are<\/b>, the more people will know how the <\/span>scares<\/span> will work. Part of the experience is discovering along with the youtubers how the world of the game and its monsters works.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 – Cooperating as a couple<\/h2>\n

To give a little more life to the gameplay, you can bring in a friend or a couple and play together. For example, you can play a narrative game like Life is Strange or Until Dawn and pass the <\/span>controller <\/span>every five minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not enough for you? You can also <\/span>collaborate at the same time. <\/b>How? With one person controlling the keyboard and another the mouse. If you use <\/span>the command controls<\/span>, then each one <\/span>controls one side<\/b>. This will test your <\/span>friendship<\/b>. If you pass the test, you can go to <\/span>the next level<\/b> and do the ‘Not My Hands Challenge’. <\/span>One handles\u00a0<\/b>the controller without looking at the screen and <\/span>the other one guides<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 – Roleplaying<\/h2>\n

Some videogame influencers get <\/span>very involved<\/b> when they play<\/span>. Role playing<\/b> means <\/span>getting into the game<\/b> almost literally. That is, if it\u2019s a military game, then acting as such, and if you are an elf in a fantasy world, the same thing. There\u2019s extra points if it\u2019s a <\/span>multiplayer <\/b>game and you get <\/span>reactions <\/b>from other people. Points are lost if you get too excited and <\/span>take it too seriously.<\/b><\/p>\n

4 – Tag<\/h2>\n

Because <\/span>not everything is always playing the game<\/b>, there\u2019s still a lot you can share. You can always create <\/span>tags<\/b> and answer questions from your followers<\/b>, telling them about your first video game, what you are most looking forward to, which character you would like to have a drink with…<\/span><\/p>\n

5 – Multitasking<\/h2>\n

If <\/span>Counter Strike<\/b> is already difficult enough, what do you think about the motivation of having to <\/span>eat something spicy<\/b> every time they kill you and having to <\/span>play while your mouth is burning?<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a version in which you have to play Mario Kart in a group, with a particular rule. Before finishing the race you have to finish an <\/span>ice slush<\/b>. Oh, and <\/span>every time you drink, you have to release the <\/b>controller<\/b>.<\/span> How would you do this? Drink everything at the beginning? Or take several sips during the race? You can also choose other liquids…<\/span><\/p>\n

6 – Game specifics<\/h2>\n

There are some video games that are not necessarily made to be shared with your followers, unlike Surgeon Simulator or Happy Wheels. But you can still <\/span>turn that game you love into something worth sharing <\/b>with your community. For example, you can play <\/span>League of Legends<\/b> with only ADCs, challenge another influencer to a <\/span>fighting<\/b> game (extra points if you add a bet) or create <\/span>special rules<\/b> that make it more interesting.<\/span><\/p>\n
