More than you think &#8230; just use a little imagination. First, it has <\/span><b>replaced <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">other <\/span><b>traditional media<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and often ends up working better than they do, the same way that <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/socialpubli.com\"><b>influencer marketing<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> does. But it\u2019s not only that, because Tinder can also teach us marketing lessons that can be useful for advertisers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>A good first impression is very important<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Users decide in a <\/span><b>matter of seconds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if they like an advertisement (or a \u00a0potential partner). That&#8217;s how long you have to make an <\/span><b>impression<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and surprise your audience with a good picture and an original description, or with a marketing campaign that hooks them from the beginning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before you do anything else, you have to be clear about your <\/span><b>target audience.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Who are you looking for? Someone who\u2019s a movie buff? A Harry Potter fan? \u00a0Include a reference to your favorite movie, or say you&#8217;re Gryffindor, or what a good Gryffindor would do. Some people may not be attracted to this first impression, but surely there will be someone in your target audience who will <\/span><b>press the green heart,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which is what you really want.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>You have to be different from the rest<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s a lot of <\/span><b>competition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from people and companies running ads. You have to be <\/span><b>different <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to <\/span><b>capture the public&#8217;s attention<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and convince them to bet on your product.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> That means that a &#8220;Hello&#8221; is better than no message at all but, honestly, your brand needs to look exceptionally good to sell something with a message like that. Add a touch of creativity. Leave the standard questions for later. Make the users <\/span><b>interact<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, take an <\/span><b>active<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> role. Even typical phrases like &#8220;What would your superpower be?&#8221; \u00a0fall short. If they collect snails? This is where you can <\/span><b>adapt your message<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> so you\u2019ll be more successful, asking about the next country they want to visit, or &#8230; undoing the match if they like snails so much that they put it in their description. Unless, of course, this is a niche target that you\u2019re going after. We\u2019re not judging. Well, maybe a little.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In terms of influencer marketing, if you know the audience you want to reach, you can <\/span><b>choose the right influencers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> so that the message communicates effectively and reaches your target audience. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But don\u2019t focus solely on the audience, because <\/span><b>you have to be true to yourself<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If your product is a scooter, don\u2019t do a campaign on LinkedIn for directors. If you would prefer a thousand times to watch a series on TV \u00a0rather than go to the gym, then don\u2019t use the hashtag #fitness. You won\u2019t get a good <\/span><b>ROI<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Storytelling<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we mentioned before, <\/span><b>engagement is the key<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in both cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In an age of passive advertising wherever you look, getting a user to interact with your message is what makes the difference. That&#8217;s why we work with<\/span><b> micro-influencers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, because their communities are usually made up of people who know them <\/span><b>personally<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>trust what they say<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The interaction that advertisers&#8217; messages get through micro-influencers \u00a0cannot be compared to a banner ad on a website that is ignored automatically.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tinder also seeks to create that connection, creating a story starting from zero between two people. The &#8220;do you go to school or do you work&#8221; is the most common story ever told.
